When change comes upon us
And it seems so very large
Better to not force it
Just watch like the stars
Luminous leaves flash upward
Imploring to the sky
Share with me your answers
Who am I?
I’ve collected sorted wisdom
With intent to grow
Have done the work required
Entered seasons to let go
A lone leaf in the breeze
Hanging on a bit
Till the wind does take me
Surrendered in his grip
It is no real surprise
This ride with the sky
Awakened secret contracts
Has opened sacred eye
From here it is breathtaking
So easy now to see
That I am really you
And you are also me
Though your coat is bright orange
I chose the fuchsia trim
We know it was the emerald green
From which we did begin
