Reach Out ~ This World Was Meant for Love

The ferry rocks us soothingly back and forth as we make our way back from beautiful Culebra Island in Puerto Rico. There is a gentle breeze and the sun is pleasantly warm on the upper deck. My first grandbaby, who is an eighteen-year-old adult, lays her head in my lap and falls asleep. How very precious this moment is to me as I contemplate a future world for her that is as paradisiacal as what, I believe, this Earth was created to be.

Mystical experiences have always been a part of my life and I believe the angelic realms are surrounding humanity with wings of love. Reaching out for heavenly assistance is essential at this time as the last of foolish wars are being acted out while we transition to a more peaceful place in the cosmos. Asking for help is never a sign of weakness. It is a wise choice because we were given free will and we have made many mistakes here. Forgiveness comes when we acknowledge our misdeeds and ask to be of service for the corrective endeavors that usher in unity for all of us. Prayers and meditation bring the guidance needed for true thoughts and actions that lead to peace.

Within the soft energy of Puerto Rico I found it easy to be aware of the auras and spirit beings that surround nature. So, I wasn’t all that surprised to see a young Puerto Rican man standing by my bedside as I woke-up on our last day there. When he knew I saw him, he simply faded away. I laughed at myself as I remembered the first time a spirit appeared to me at my bedside in Wisconsin. At that time, fear gripped me and I threw the covers over my head while saying out loud, “Wait a minute!” By the time I had calmed down and took the covers off my head, he had disappeared. In my defense, he was blue in color, and I had never envisioned such a sight. Now I wish the spirit that had just appeared had stayed around for a conversation. When I tried to reconnect with him, my sense of it was, was that he had been thanking me. While in the many gorgeous surroundings we found ourselves to be in while visiting there, I had been trying to radiate as much love to the natural world, as I could, especially the magnificent Atlantic Ocean and El Yunque rainforest. I’ve been doing energy work for decades by trade and this was such a lovely opportunity. I am forever grateful and Puerto Rico will hold a special place in my heart forever now.

When I came across the radiant picture of Jesus featured in this blog, I felt such a sense of hope for humanity. He is such a pure example of how to be in this world even in the midst of treacherous actions and chaos. All we need do is love. Love is the answer to everything. We can not physically feel fear and love at the same time. When fear arises within us, let us reach out for assistance from the higher realms and act in a way that returns us to the loving spirits that we are.

  1. Thank you, Pen, for sharing your experiences in this beautiful and evocative essay. I feel the peace you describe … and the gentle yet powerful spirit infusing life on the island. It all transports me back to a land that’s in my heart forever. Please do tell if the spirit at your bedside comes back for a conversation! How precious that he visited.

    1. I will let you know Linda! I would so love it if he would. I don’t know how anyone could visit or live in Puerto Rico without falling in love with such beauty ~ it feels like freedom in so many wonderful ways!
