Warm nourishing love permeates every cell and space of my being. Arms like wings of an angel cradle me and I am embraced in sweet waves of comfort and joy. To be held in love so pure, delights my heart as a lullaby sings to me a gentle tune of how valued and deeply cared for I AM. This is the true nature of our creation.
How I wish every soul on Earth would experience this rapture at birth and beyond. Yet the world, as it is, often offers experiences of a colder existence. Mothers may try their best to offer love and support to their offspring, or they may be so beset with internal worries or everyday problems that they don’t have the capability to do so. But, either way, they usually fall short of what Divine Mother offers us on a consistent bases if we allow ourselves to connect with Her.
A problem most of us experience today is that we hold on to the resentment of being treated badly by our parents and others, which causes generational heartache that gets played out on the world stage. Once people let go of their traumas, they are then able to access their own sense of self-love and become more loving towards others. But does forgiveness really work?
Most people I know really do want to forgive people, but do it from an egotistic viewpoint. In other words, they say they’re going to let it go while still judging and criticizing the ones who injured them. The only way I know to truly forgive is to get in touch with our own Divinity, and see the other person’s Divinity too, at a high level of consciousness via meditation. This is where we connect soul to soul; and angels, guides, and Divine Mother herself is there to assist us if we choose.
That still means we set good boundaries with people who are still treating us poorly. However, we are no longer attached to having them be any different than they are willing to be. Instead we hold compassion for them in our heart instead of condemnation. A wise woman told me that if you came upon a blind person and they told you that colors simply don’t exist, that you would not be angry with them for disagreeing with you. Instead, your heart would be filled with compassion, and that you would hope that some day the whole rainbow would open up for them.
Let’s open our nurturing hearts and fill the world with love. Let’s allow women to choose for themselves whether or not they are ready to be a loving vessel to welcome a newborn into life the way Divine Mother does for all. I always try to walk in another’s shoes when someone is making an important decision, as well as, I try to feel what it would be like if I would be the one on the receiving side of the decision being made. Would I choose to be born to a mother whose life was so unsettled that it would cause much hardship to both of us? Would I choose to be born into a body with so many defects that I’d have to endure physical torture just to survive a short lifespan? Would I want to be born to parents who were abusive or riddled with addiction? I know that I would be more than happy to rest in Divine Mother’s arms until all people involved could have a loving existence. Until that world is here, I believe my purpose is to try to understand, forgive and love everyone the best I can.
I was a teenager when the Supreme Court decided to protect a pregnant woman’s liberty to have an abortion. So Roe v. Wade was only a couple of years in the making when a girl in my neighborhood, two years younger than I, took her father’s gun and shot herself in the abdomen ~ they did not survive. I don’t know if she was raped or just experimenting sexually with a boyfriend at the time. I don’t know if her parents would have let her have an abortion or not. I do know that I was very grateful that most women going forward would have the right to choose for themselves what they can and cannot handle. I do know that we all lose our physical bodies at some point in our existence and that life goes on. I also believe that at the soul level all circumstances can be understood, forgiven and blessed. Divine Mother loves us all!
I am glad that my fellow Wisconsinite, Janet Protasiewicz, won the Supreme Court nomination and vows to safe guard a woman’s right to choose. It is well known that trauma can start in utero, and at a subconscious level we all know if we were wanted, accepted or rejected. It is also known (in some circles) that we can communicate to our unborn child to explain with love why it is not a good choice to go forward with birth. Often, spontaneous abortions take place when doing so. But even if medical assistance is needed, the more love that surrounds both souls helps to heal us all. So our work is cut out for us. Let’s change the world so no one experiences desperate situations in their lives, and let’s not judge any one else’s decisions until we create a peaceful and fair existence for us all. It starts by forgiving our own parents and others for not being aware enough, willing, or able to meet our needs for love. May we all forgive the past, love deeply, and create the Heaven on Earth that would make Divine Mother proud!
