SACRED HEART
Shall I cook for you a king’s meal?
Oh, how your heart does drool
Will you bring me beautiful flowers?
Oh, how my heart does bloom
I crave the gaze of my beloved
Though my eyes are half-way closed
Thinking to be seen fully by another
Would leave me too exposed
Could there be a surer path to love
That is not too difficult to digest
Or become the withered fallen petals?
I found it in my sacred heart within my chest
The secret is to go within
Surrender every impulse and desire
It is the backdoor in my own heart
Where Divinity is what I truly aspire
For here the purest love was all along
No need for fanfare and fuss
I discovered how much I am cherished
Within my own heart with boundless trust
There is much being revealed about our sacred heart within the energy system of our physical being. For those of you who are familiar with the chakras and meridian flow of energy within our bodies, know that it is located in the back of the heart center. Simply, quieting your mind, breathing deeply and focusing on the love in your heart will give you access to this magnificent portal of life. It is where our true, eternal Self or Soul resides. When the body dies and we return to our pure energy state, our Soul will be guided to where we are next to be. However, we can access our blissful soul state in meditation whenever we put the effort out to do so. The key is to let go of anything that comes up in our mind that stands in the way. Resistance is natural as the ego mind likes to be in control. But, with patience and practice all those pesky thoughts can dissolve into light and fade away. Focus on the word love as you breathe through your heart, for it is the most powerful energy in the universe ~ a divine gift from our Creator.
Once you become adept at entering your sacred heart, there is a form of energy healing that you can use to help other people. From a blissful state of love, we can invite others who are needing love to join us there. It is important to get a sense of permission intuitively from their soul first, as not everyone is wanting to accept unconditional love. Then hold them in a healing embrace until all their fears and trouble disappear. This is truly the best medicine we can offer to anyone or any part of nature too ~ be it animals, plants, lakes or clearing energy in the sky. The best part is that the only side effect is more love for all!
