Who Am I?

Since my book was published a few months ago, I have been asked questions about who I am. I’m pretty sure people are looking for my background and not asking the big existential question. But it did get me thinking in that direction, because a lot of what I do centers around being a lightworker.

I’ll share with you some of the comments that the Lords of the Akashic Records and my Guides had to say about lightworkers:

Every human being has his or her own life path. Some lightworkers are meant to be quite public and some are being called to a very private practice ~ not out of fear of the public, but simply as a personal preference. Some work with others in a traditional setting, caring for and loving the sick. They too are lightworkers. Some have concentrated their efforts into very specific areas of loving service: with plants, crystals, animals, or other life forms. Others refer to themselves as “frequency holders,” as they channel positive healing energy every day to where ever they feel guided to do so in the moment.

The most important gift any one can bring to this planet is to let go of fear and be a truly loving soul, whatever their life’s work. In this way, we all can make a very valuable contribution to the whole. Whenever anyone feels passionate about a calling, and they put their energy into bringing about health in the world, they too are lightworkers, though they go by many names. The person that walks along a trail and picks up the abandoned trash at their feet, is in that moment a lightworker. The person that calls attention to the polluting of the water or the destruction of the minerals in the soil and takes action to stop it, is in that moment a lightworker. What defines a lightworker is the intention to make a contribution ~ with love in their heart ~ to bring about a healthy living environment for all life forms on this planet.

So who am I? I’m the same as you ~ a being filled with light who is temporarily having a human experience while being of service in whatever way fits in with our own life situation!

My journey as a caretaker started in childhood as I have two siblings that are much younger than me. I developed a desire to help people and nursing seemed like the logical career path, but working in traditional settings didn’t feel natural to me. I wanted to work independently and in a holistic manner, and eventually I was able to have my own healing arts business called Lady of the Lake Holistic Health.

Knowing that the mind has a tremendous influence over our health, I went back to school to earn a master’s degree in educational psychology. I learned that the subconscious mind drives our emotional and spiritual states and went on to take in-depth hypnosis training at the Wellness Institute in Washington. Throughout my career I learned many energy healing modalities which weaved together all my experiences. Having a deep love of nature, I now spend time channeling healing energy to whomever crosses my path ~ be it animal, plant, lake, human ~ I am a lightworker!
